The USUHS SEAP
summer program is operated in conjunction with Department of
Defense (DoD) laboratories and the George Washington University. Its
purpose is to give gifted high school students and teachers
a hands-on experience
in a scientific laboratory under the guidance of a mentor.
The program lasts 8 weeks (8 hours per day - 5 days per week) and
students are paid $1400. Students are required to work the entire 8
week period (no vacations) and to produce a paper to
document their work.

USUHS policy for minors employed at the University
is provided in USU instruction 6004.
Applications are available for viewing in G58,
Department of Biomedical Informatics, next to the weight
room.
30 March, complete interview of applicants and confer with
Dr. Robert Williams
about offers. (We are limited to N students this year.)
9 April, mentors must notify students about selection by this date.
19 April, mentors have notified Dr. Williams about their selections
and have returned all application forms.
Application forms should be returned to G58
as soon as possible after selection.
Mentors must prepare a standard form SF52 for Personnel, and
a form 6050 for EHOS.
